Robert C. Waits is a self taught artist. He has been carving wood, stone and glass since 1989 and has been chainsaw carving since 1993. In the last few years he has won 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in chainsaw carving competitions. Also a few Artist Choice and Peoples Choice Awards along the way. His wood carvings have been featured on HGTV and The Outdoor Channel and have been sold around the world.

With his unlimited imagination and amazing talent he can carve almost anything from a one inch ivory whale to a 16 foot tall tree covered in chainsaw carved owls. Make sure and give his gallery a look. We have a sampling of his best pieces in there.

Although wood carving is his main passion, he also does his fair share of glass etchings, stone carvings, airbrushing, ice sculpture and clay sculpting and now painting.
